How to use
- Choose sound (computer sound, microphone), quality and countdown, then press 'Start recording'.
- In the share dialog, pick a screen, window or tab and press Share. For computer sound, turn on 'Share system audio' or 'Share tab audio'.
- Press 'Stop and save' when you're done, check the preview and download. You can pause and resume at any time.
FAQ
Is it free? Is there a time limit?
It's free with no watermark. There's no time limit, but recordings are kept in memory, so under 30 minutes is recommended. Ten minutes at 1080p is roughly 300-400 MB.
Does it work on phones?
No. Phone and tablet browsers mostly don't let web pages record the screen. Use the built-in recorder: Control Center → Screen Recording on iPhone, or Quick Settings → Screen recorder on Android.
Why isn't computer sound recorded?
Turn on 'Share system audio' (whole screen in Chrome or Edge on Windows) or 'Share tab audio' (when sharing a tab) in the share dialog. On a Mac only tab audio works, and Safari and Firefox can't record computer sound.
Does it save MP4?
Yes in the latest Chrome, Edge and Safari. Browsers that can't record MP4, such as Firefox, save WebM.
Is my recording uploaded?
No. Recording and saving happen entirely inside your browser.
