How to use

  1. Press each button (left, right, middle, back, forward) inside the test area. Detected buttons turn green.
  2. If the Chatter count rises while you click slowly, the switch is likely worn.
  3. Use the CPS box for a 5 or 10 second click test, and move the mouse quickly in the polling box.

FAQ

My mouse double-clicks when I click once.

That's switch chatter, usually from a worn switch. This test flags presses within 80 ms. Warranty repair or raising the debounce time in the mouse software can help.

Side buttons don't register.

If the mouse software remaps them, the browser may not receive them. Reset them to default.

Polling rate reads low.

Browsers and display refresh can limit readings for 1000 Hz+ mice. Chrome and Edge are the most accurate.
