FAQ
Is this GIF maker free? Is there a watermark?
It's free with no sign-up, and no watermark is added to your GIF.
What settings give a small GIF?
Width 320-480 px, 10 fps and 3-5 seconds usually stays within a few MB. If it's too big, lower the width or fps or shorten the clip.
Why are GIFs so large?
GIF is an old format with weak compression compared with video. Lots of motion and colour make it bigger. Reducing the width and fps helps the most.
Does it work with iPhone videos?
Usually yes in Safari. If Chrome can't open an HEVC video, use Safari or record with 'Most Compatible' in the iPhone camera settings.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Videos and photos are processed only inside your browser.
